Roger Szabo Keyboard & Vocals

Roger is the "rock" to GLB!  He is the center of the group which make the group so dynamic.  Roger started his drum lessons at the age of 8 by the suggestion of his 3rd grade teacher because he would be constantly tapping his pencil on his desk.  He was also inspired by the piano.  His older brother took piano lessons, and afterwards, Roger would play by ear what he heard his brother play.  Rogers training consists of 8 years private drum instruction, percussion, theory, and arrangement @ CIM, Baldwin Wallace, Summer Music Camps, and various others.  Past bands he's been a part of include: All Ohio Youth Orchestra, The Three Keys, Allan and Rodgers, Bill Gidney Trio, Cleveland Connection, Wild About Harry : R&B group, Soundwaves, Ranger and currently GL BAND.  Some special perfomances Roger appeared in were: Music Direction for Southeast Summer Theater, Voice Overs & Commcerials for Ch43 & KNR.  As a child, Roger appeared on Polka Varieties, The Gene Carrol Show, Case Jazz Ensemble, and others.    For 16 years Roger worked for Steinway & Yamaha Pianos - which part of the job was supplying concert pianos for various performers.  This has put Roger in the path of "many" A listers...

Greg Gibson Bass Guitar & Vocals

Greg Gibson started playing guitar at age 13 during the Beatles craze. His first acoustic guitar was a gift from his Dad, with the promise of learning Hank Williams songs (his favorite country artist).

After high school, Greg went on the road with the band that he co-founded...Collage, which was a touring band that was also successful in the Akron / Cleveland club circuit. He went to music school at Akron U and studied classical guitar and upright bass, which provided a background in the classics and jazz.
